Special Report on Six-Pack Abs
What is the Best
Ab Workout
to Lose Belly Fat?
It's not situps or crunches
Date: September, 9th, 2010
Subject: Revealing the Secret to Six Pack Abs
If you are committed to developing
great looking abs,
the first thing you want to know is
"What is the best ab workout
to lose belly fat?" The answer is...
Well,... there really aren't any. Abdominal workouts alone don't affect your metabolism
enough to get rid of belly fat.
I like to know what works. So, I've read what experts have to say who have helped
people get real results. One guy I know about is Mike Geary.
As a fitness professional, nutrition specialist, and,
trainer, Mike is often asked "what are the best
types of exercises and workouts for losing stubborn stomach fat to
flatten your belly and bring out visible six pack abs?" Here's where most people with excess
belly fat get side-tracked and miss the real secret to revealing their
great-looking abs. They are looking for some "miracle ab
workout" that is going to slash the fat off their abs quickly.
The thing is... they are going about the problem
all wrong! The real truth is that you don't lose stomach fat by
doing ab workouts.
The problem is that focusing most of your time and
effort on ab exercises and ab workouts to try to flatten your
stomach and bring out six-pack abs is simply wasting your time.
This keeps you from doing the correct workout programs that will actually reduce your
body fat for good.
So what is the best exercise?
Mike says the best
exercises to lose belly fat would include full-body exercises.
Just as an example, these exercises would be
something like:
- squats
- lunges
- deadlifts
- clean & presses
- snatches
- swings
- presses & pulls
- mountain climbers
- sprinting
These types of full-body exercises would take up a much
higher percentage of the workouts he would design instead of
abdominal exercises directly aimed at the midsection. It's also very
important how you combine those full-body exercises
into a strategic workout that maximizes your metabolism.
But are ab exercises a waste of
time?
Don't get him wrong ... he does
recommend some exercises that directly target the abs and core. But
these are only a small fraction of the exercises in
programs he designs for his clients.
Time is better
spent focusing on the full-body exercises that stimulate the greatest
hormonal and metabolic changes within the body. And, here's a
great side-effect: when you work out using mostly
full-body multi-joint combo exercises, you indirectly work
your entire midsection even though you aren't specifically targeting
the abs.
All the right exercises won't
work unless ...
Keep in mind that the most important factor
for losing belly fat so you (and others) can see your abs is actually
in the nutrition arena. No matter how hard you workout,
if your diet is full of junk (and too much of it), then your abdominals will be covered with
ugly fat. Nutrition is without a doubt the "king of getting a six
pack". But which foods are most important? Mike
tells it all in his report.
So let's clear this up for
good...
It's best to stop wasting so much of your time
focusing on
- situps
- crunches
- leg raises
- all those silly worthless "ab contraptions"
in your efforts to try to develop 6-pack abs.
Instead focus on high-intensity full-body lifts using
combination multi-joint exercises all strategically combined into highly
effective fat-loss workouts. Couple that with a healthy
diet full of natural unprocessed whole foods as close to
their natural state as possible, and those elusive six-pack abdominals
(the flat-belly look) will yours in no time.
